BSK 1933 Sets New Standards as a Third-Division Club
Revolutionary Partnership with Nexus Soccer Academy in Nigeria
Bischofshofen/Kano, April 2, 2025 β BSK 1933 is making a bold move as an Austrian third-division club by entering into a groundbreaking partnership with the renowned Nexus Soccer Academy in Kano, Nigeria, which will now be known as BSK Nexus Soccer Academy. This collaboration sends a clear message about international talent development and proves that football development is more about vision than league affiliation.
A Third-Division Club with a Global Vision
With this move, BSK 1933 positions itself internationally, showing that even a third-division club can actively shape the global football market. The partnership with BSK Nexus Soccer Academy is not just a standard scouting project but a long-term development model. The focus is on the holistic development of young people in Africa, improving their football-specific skills as well as their cultural, social, and educational competencies. The goal is to provide these talents with future opportunities and support them in all areas.

Quote from the CEO of BSK1933
βItβs important for us to always think outside the box and learn from others. In observing many international and national clubs, weβve seen that African footballers are playing an increasingly important role in the sport. We see great potential in creating a social arrival platform through BSK 1933, where talented players from Africa can first have the opportunity to settle in Europe, get used to the climate, and process new experiences within a small, family-like structure. We can definitely provide a good bridge between the African football market and the European professional football market.β β Patrick Reiter, CEO of BSK 1933 Polysport GmbH
Quote from the President of Nexus Soccer Academy
βThe ideas and approach of BSK 1933 are truly unique in my view as an entrepreneur in the sports sector. What particularly impressed me were the ethical and moral values that BSK lives by. The way the club defines itself and treats people was the deciding factor for me to enter into this partnership. Although several established European top clubs were on the table, it was this values-driven approach that made the difference. It is a great honor to collaborate with such a dedicated and visionary club like BSK, and I look forward to many exceptional experiences.β β Jamil Abdussalam, President of Nexus Soccer Academy
We are grateful for this partnership!

Reinventing Football β Creating Added Value
This partnership goes beyond talent development β it represents a new understanding of football that places the overall development of young talents at its core. It is about creating opportunities, fostering potential, and realizing the vision of actively shaping the global football market.
