Annual review 2025 – BSK 1933

2025 was a year marked for BSK 1933 by sporting consistency, exceptional youth successes, and sustainable structural development. The club solidified its role as a sporting and societal anchor in Pongau – on and off the football pitch.

Youth – Club Foundation
The youth sector remained the club’s foundation in 2025.
The Steinbock Junior Cup firmly established itself as one of Austria’s largest youth tournaments. A special sporting highlight came from the U7 team, led by coach Jaydon Reiter and co-coach Jakob Neumann, who emerged as one of only two Pongau winning teams over the entire event – an extraordinary achievement in a highly competitive field.

Holistic Focus
With a clear commitment to comprehensive sporting and social offerings, targeted initiatives beyond the pitch were prioritized. The anti-bullying prevention seminar, conducted with KIA and Franz Zwerschina, sent a strong, sustainable signal for protecting, strengthening, and taking social responsibility toward the club’s children and youth.

Talent Opportunities
The Rapid Talent Day in Bischofshofen offered all regional youth players a valuable chance to showcase themselves at national top level and make key development strides. The event has become a fixed, complementary part of Austrian youth promotion, providing talented players a realistic platform for standout performances.
This consistent focus on development and permeability was evident in 2025: Following Petar Trivunovic, Denis Marin became another BSK 1933 youth player to advance to the elite selection of FC Red Bull Salzburg-Süd. This proves the club’s high-quality, sustainably structured, and performance-oriented training work.

Standout Performance
The U10 team under Avni Muslija shone particularly brightly. They won every home tournament in 2025. Across the season, they suffered just one loss – yet still claimed victory in that tournament. With only three draws overall, it paints a picture of a near-perfect performance season.

First Team – Sporting Consistency at High Level!
The first team once again confirmed its position in 2025 as Pongau’s sporting flagship.
• 5th place in Regionalliga West
• Third-best amateur team in the league and by far the most successful Pongau team
• Finalist again in the SFV Cup
BSK 1933 also underscored its role as a springboard to professional football. Through the first team, the following players earned their next career step in pro football in 2025:
• Tobias Pellegrini (Austria Salzburg)
• Felipe Guzman (GV San José, Bolivia – 1st League)

Infrastructure – Investment in the Future – Thanks to the Municipality!

A key infrastructural milestone was both the adaptation of the cabins at the main square and the complete renewal of the artificial turf field by the municipality. Specifically, the turf adaptation provided BSK 1933 with modern, high-quality training options for the winter months – a decisive factor for continuous youth and performance development.
👉 Special thanks go to the Bischofshofen municipality for this vital investment in sports, youth, and the future.

Unanimous Confirmation at General Assembly
At this year’s general assembly, the current BSK 1933 board was reconfirmed. Members unanimously endorsed the club’s chosen path and strategic direction.

Conclusion
BSK 1933 looks back on a year defined by performance, reliability, and clear conviction. Youth work, first team, and infrastructure interlock – aiming to develop people, enable achievement, and assume regional responsibility.
BSK 1933 – so much more than a club.
